Briony Bax is a poet and former editor of Ambit Magazine. Her work has appeared in many publications including Ambit, Meat, Herrings Anthology, New Rivers Press Anthology, Fenland Poetry Journal, Dewdrop and Mum's Press, she's been a featured poet in Poetry in Motion in LA, and her pamphlet 'Lament' was published by Rough Trade Press in 2020. In 2021 she was a commissioned poet for the Museum of Human Kindness in Wells-next-the-Sea and runs the open mic night 'Strictly Speaking' at the Wells Maltings. She is the founder of The Orphan Support League that works in Gilgil, Kenya supporting the work of The Saidia Children's Home. Lovely imagery Briony, especially for those who know the town and beach at Wells. It is good to celebrate these small but nonetheless import acts of human kindness.
